SATC foursome show us how fashion is done

As anticipated the SATC girls dazzled at the New York premiere last night. SJP had a stunning one shoulder canary yellow floaty dress on which she looked incredible in. Kristin has a beautiful bright fuschia pink strapless Grecian styled long dress which complimented her complexion beautifully. I also though cynthia, who tends to be the less fashionable one looked fabulous in a long black number but it was more here hair that I noticed. She has softened the harsh auburn by adding soft blonde highlights and grown it into a shoulder length style. She had soft curls in her hair and looked breathtakingly elegant and beautiful. Kim always looks amazing for someone in her 50's she has an incredible and enviable figure. Dazzling in a sexy gold slingy dress which showed off all her curves.
Well done ladies, even if the film doesn't impress you superceeded all expectations with your fab outfits to the premier so thumbs up. I want your stylist!

The maxi vs mini debate

Like most ladies out there I am desperate to get out my summer wardrobe and am excited by some of the summer trends. I'm delighted to see that maxi dresses are gracing the fashion pages of magazines and shops once again this year. In my fashionable opinion maxi dresses flatter all women whatever shape or size and make you feel both sexy, summery and confident. When you were a mini dress women are more conscious about their legs being on show and unless you have the perfect pins shud really be avoided at all costs. However maxi dresses can be fitted for the skinnier lady or floaty and loose for the larger lady. The certainly get my vote this summer and have been stocking up! New look has a great range as does boohoo and missguided so check them out and enjoy to bo ho feeling you get by wearing them.

Leopard Skin - tacky or classy?

We have been having a debate in the office about whether we think Leopard print is classy or down right tacky? and we have come to the conclusion that it depends on who wears it and how you wear it. I personally think that leopard print should be used very carefully and conservatively. Leopard print should be subtle like on a belt to finish off an outfit or a bag to compliment an outfit or a nice pair of leopard print suede shoes (not PVC or plastic as that can look very tacky)

Also if you see a style icon like Victoria Beckham wearing a leopard print dress you are more inclined to think it looks nice especially if it is a classy shift or a floaty dress but if you are to see a chavy lady in tesco wearing a leopard print top finished off with shed loads of gold jewellery and her hair scraped into a tight pony tail on the top of her head you will probably think it looks extremely tacky and would ver away from it as much as possible.

In conclusion, leopard print needs to be worn with careful thought and execution to ensure it looks classy and sophisticated not tacky and cheap. Keep it to finishing touches like a handbag, belt or shoes for maximum impact but minimum fuss!

A shoppers con

I have always wanted designer shoes for my wedding but dont want to pay designer prices so I started googling for websites that might sell discounted designer shoes. I found one that looked fantastic which sold hugely discounted Christian Louboutin shoes. I thought I had hit the jackpot when I found a stunning pair of white satin slingback shoes with diamante detail on them for the bargain price of £169. I got extremely carried away and placed an order for them thinking this is too good to be true. After about three days of panicking I finally received an email to inform me that my shoes had been despatched and that I should receive them in around 7 days. Very excited, I listed this on my facebook status immediately to inform the world that I would soon be receiving Christian Louboutin shoes of my very own. Anyway the shoes finally turned up and had come all the way from no less than Taiwan! Oh my god I thought these are gonna be rubbish. I opened the package and the shoes are lovely but nothing what I expected and certainly not the quality I had anticipated. The satin was dirty even! I am extremely disappointed and am currently in the process of trying to sell them on! Dont fall for these sort of websites like I did. Just save up and buy the real things! Now I think I will invest in a nice pair of genuine Kurt Geiger instead! Affordable but classy. You cant wear cheap fakes on your wedding day after all!?
